Texas Flood es el album debut del blues man estadounidense Stevie Ray Vaughan y su Double Trouble, lanzado el 13 de junio de 1983 en el sello Epic Records. Fue llamado así por la portada del album "Texas Flood", grabado por el cantante de blues Larry Davis en 1958. Producido por la banda y el ingeniero de sonido Richard Mullen, fue grabado en tan solo tres días en el estudio de grabación personal de Jackson Browne en Los Angeles. Vaughan escribió seis tracks del Texas Flood. Fueron lanzados dos sencillos. También se sacó un video en MTV en 1983. Esta es la reedición de 1999, tiene unos tracks extras.

Texas Flood is the debut album of American blues rock band Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, released on June 13, 1983 by Epic Records. The album was named after a cover featured on the album "Texas Flood" , recorded by blues singer Larry Daviss in 1958. Produced by the band and recording engineer Richard Mullen, it was recorded in only three days at Jackson Browne's personal recording studio in Los Angeles. Vaughan wrote six of the ten tracks on Texas Flood. Two singles were released from the album. A music video was made for "Lover Struck Baby" and received regular rotation on MTV in 1983. In 1999, Texas Flood was reissued with five bonus tracks including an interview segment, studio outtake, and live performances.
