Rainbow - Rising

Rising (También conocido como Rainbow Rising) es el Segundo album de hard rock de Rainbow, sacado en 1976. Con el lider de la banda el guitarrista Ritchie Blackmore, en ésta alineación se quedo solamente con el cantante Ronnie James Dio del album anterior, y trajo al excelente baterista Cozy Powell, al bajista Jimmy Bain y al tecladista TonyCarey para completer la nueva banda.

Grabado en Munich en menos de un mes, el álbum fue producido por el ingeniero Martin Birch. En la gira este grupo fue presentado como Blackmore’s Rainbow.

Rising, also known as (Rainbow Rising) is the second hard rock/heavy metal album by Rainbow, released in 1976. With bandleader Ritchie Blackmore retaining only Ronnie James Dio from the previous album, he recruited drummer Cozy Powell, bassist Jimmy Bain and keyboard player Tony Carey to complete the new line-up.

Recorded in Munich in less than a month, the album was overseen by rock producer and engineer Martin Birch. The record was originally billed as Blackmore's Rainbow.
