Chicago III

CHICAGO III fue lanzado originalmente en enero de 1971, como su nombre lo indica es el tercer album doble de esta agrupación en dos años. El primero siendo el CHICAGO TRANSIT AUTHORITY (en Abril de 1969) y CHICAGO II (enero de 1970) fueron grandes éxitos y les dieron muchos Hits, por eso seguían siendo grandes favoritos.

CHICAGO III fue creado con el mismo concepto de los dos anteriores, tenía los exitos "Free" y"Lowdown". Este álbum también tiene su lugar en el espacio musical de Chicago y del rock. En este trataron de ser mas versátiles y mas funkys ("Sing A Mean Tune Kid", "Free") y hasta un poco avant-garde ("Free Country", "Progress?"). Tenía tres suites "Travel Suite", y "An Hour In The Shower" de Terry Kath, y "Elegy". De James Pankow'. Un disco chingón sin duda alguna de cuando las bandas rifaban, ahora solo las narco-bandas la hacen, pero ni modo así es el gusto musical de hoy en día. Solamente nos queda suspirar y acordarnos de nuestros años mozos...
