Bill Bruford - Feels Good To Me

Este es el primer disco solista del baterista Bill Bruford después de la separación de King Crimson, “Feels Good to me” va mucho más alla del progresivo común o usual de estos tiempos, entra directamente de lleno a las estructuras composicionales y las dinámicas de improvisación del jazz, por eso es un disco muy chingón

Aquí se rodea de distintos compañeros de Canterbury - guitarristas Allan Holdsworth (Soft Machine y Tony Williams de por vida) y John Goodsall (Brand X), bajista Jeff Berlín (toca en giras con Pink Floyd) , tecladista Dave Stewart, y ECM Flügelhorn atlético Kenny Wheeler. Además, se enroló la enigmática proeza vocal de poeta, cantante y compositora Annette Peacock. Es un disco super recomendable de como lo llamabamos en  esos entonces Jazz-Rock, ahora le llaman Fusion, pero la maestría y la música es la misma, recuerden no cualquiera toca Jazz o Rock Progresivo, solamente músicos consumaods, bueno, saludos y que lo disfruten, re-subido en nuevos servidores. saludos y vamos a rockanrolear!. This is the first solo date by drummer Bill Bruford after the first demise of King Crimson. Feels Good to Me goes far beyond the usual prog rock conceits of its time, and enters fully into the compositional structures and improvisational dynamics of jazz. Here he surrounds himself with various mates from the Canterbury scene - guitarists Allan Holdsworth (Soft Machine and Tony Williams' Lifetime) and John Goodsall (Brand X), bassist Jeff Berlin, keyboardist Dave Stewart, and ECM flügelhorn stalwart Kenny Wheeler. He also enlisted the enigmatic vocal prowess of poet, singer, and songwriter Annette Peacock.

Este es mi disco favorito de Bill como solista, claro que sin olvidar al "Gradually Going Tornado" o el "One of a Kind" pero este tiene un toque especial, esa voz melancólica de Annette que lo hace especial. Aunque no es uno de los que me llavaría a una isla desierta, vale la pena tenerlo en su discofrafía, saludos y a rocanrolear banda.
