Mountain es una banda que no se por que no se hizo mas famosa. Claro que todos hemos oido "Mississippi Queen", hasta en anuncios de cerveza, pero poca gente saben que mas hizo esta banda. Bueno tienen dos muy buenos discos, Estos dos albunes son tan buenos que definitivamente necesitan mas atención de nuestra parte.
Este es tecnícamente el "debut" album, aunque Leslie West había puesto un album de solista con el nombre y casi la misma alineación. Se les puede considerar una banda de un solo hit, pero sería insultar a estos chavos. Con su gran trabajo de hard rock, que deberían ser comparados con Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer y Deep Purple, ya que estamos hablando de los orígenes del Heavy Metal. Bueno esta banda si que daba pataleo garantizado, y por ahí tengo posteado uno de solista de Leslie West de blues échenle un vistazo, saludos.
Mountain is a criminally undermentioned band in my book. I mean sure, everyone on earth knows "Mississippi Queen" but very few know the band did anything else at all. Well, I guess they really didn't do a whole lot else. They really only have two great albums, but both of them are such beasts that they definitely deserve a whole lot more mention than they get.

This is just a punishing slab of groove heavy hard rock that deserves to be up there with Sabbath, Blue Cheer, and Deep Purple when people start to talk about the origins of heavy metal.
