Styx - Big Bang Theory

En 2004 la vieja banda Styx, toco la rola "I am the Walrus" de los Beatles en el Festival Crossroads, que organiza Eric Clapton, la canción fue recibida tan bien que la sacaron como un sencillo, llegando al top 10 de las listas de popularidad de Rock Clásico. En el video podemos ver al bajista chuck Panozzo como "Eggman". Como resultado de esta onda, Styx grabó un album de puras canciones de otros grupos "covers". Este disco llegó a alcanzar el lugar 46 en las listas Billboard Top 200, es el disco que ha llegado mas alto en las listas de popularidad en 14 años. Es algo nunca antes visto, los covers están muy bien manufacturados, pues todos estos músicos tienen ya gran kilometraje (ya tienen lama en el tanque), en esto de la música. Buen disco se disfruta entre otros rolas de Blind Faith, The Who, Humble Pie, Allman Brothers, Jimi Hendrix y Jethro Tull, entre otros, un espacio refrescante entre tanta música actual. Disfrútenlo!
